How to use this resource
Initially, the guide will choose all of one color and place them randomly on a mat. First the guide should contrast the darkest and lightest tablets and point out the difference. Then the guide will proceed to grade all the tablets of the color from darkest to lightest and then invite the child to do the same. Once a child can grade all the colors, there are many extensions such as creating patterns with the tablets, finding shade matches of objects in the indoor and outdoor environments, and more.
