About me

I am a passionate, professional educator with over 20 years of experience teaching children through adults, as well as in Montessori and International schools in China and the United States. 

My educational experience includes:

• Bachelor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan School of Music
• Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College of Business and Accountancy
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education from the North American Montessori Centre
• MACTE certification in Early Childhood Education through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies.

My past professional experience includes portfolio management at Merrill Lynch, working as professor and associate researcher of finance and economics, as well as enjoying an active performing and teaching life as a professional singer and voice teacher. I am a mother of three children, including a child with Type 1 Diabetes, a cause for which I actively fundraise.
